DOWNTOWN BALTIMORE TROLLEY TOUR: PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE

This event takes place on Thursday, July 28, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm and is presented by the Maryland Chapter of the American Planning Association.

Join APA Maryland on Thursday, July 28th for a trolley tour of downtown Baltimore! The tour will take us through multiple downtown neighborhoods while highlighting the City’s role in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, and the Industrial Revolution. It will also include a discussion on the preservation of historic architecture, monuments, and waterfront neighborhoods.

Event Details: The tour will begin and end in the parking lot in front of the Wine Market (921 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230). The trolley will leave promptly at 6:00 pm to begin the two-hour tour. Refreshments will not be provided during the tour, but are allowed on the trolley. An informal happy hour at the Wine Market will follow the tour.

Cost: $30.00 for MD APA Members and $35.00 for non-MD APA Members. Tickets can be purchased through PayPal on the MD APA Website or by check made out to Maryland APA. Checks should be sent to: Lauren Good, Maryland APA Treasurer, c/o KCI Technologies, 614 DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.

Tickets are limited for the trolley tour, so please purchase tickets as soon as possible.

Note to AICP members: This is intended to be a fun event and CM credits will not be awarded. MD APA members and non- MD APA members are encouraged to attend.
