On May 1, 1000 Friends of Maryland and the Maryland Chapter of the American Planning Association are presenting “Beyond Terrapin Run.” This event will take place from 8 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Pip Moyer Community Center, 273 Hilltop Lane in Annapolis.
The event will review just how binding local comprehensive plans are and provide a refresher on the Terrapin Run Court of Appeals case and the subsequent State legislation that overturned the Court’s decision. Recent cases from Queen Anne’s and Anne Arundel Counties concerning zoning consistency with the comprehensive plan will also be highlighted.
